Job Description:
Arcadia University invites applications for Adjunct Professors
(part time) for the College of Health Sciences. The number of
part-time instructors hired by the department varies from semester
to semester, depending upon the needs of the program. When a
position is available, qualified applicants may be contacted for an
interview and asked to submit further documentation. While there
may not be immediate openings, the hiring manager will review
applications when openings do occur. Arcadia's College of Health
Sciences (CHS) houses the University's the Department of Public
Health (MPH, BSPH, and BS/BA in Health Sciences), Medical Science
(Physician Assistant Studies), and programs in Physical Therapy.
Through evidence-based practice and project-based learning, these
programs prepare health care professionals for success in a rapidly
changing global environment with applied and pro bono clinical
thesis work, clinical rotations, international fieldwork, and
multicultural assessment. Though most programs and courses are
taught onsite, there are some online programs, but modality is
dependent upon the respective program and not preference. Graduates
of Arcadia's CHS programs are at the forefront of their respective
fields and employed by leading health organizations. You can read

responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching
discipline-specific courses, lectures or laboratories, responding
to student inquiries, using Canvas to post lectures and grades and
abiding by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures
and policies. Qualifications vary by discipline: Master's degree in
a related discipline or equivalent experience required with a
terminal degree preferred (or required in some cases). Higher
education teaching experience is preferred. Demonstration of
student-centeredness Course credits vary but normally between 3-4
credits a class. Lab courses are 2 credits each. A link to our most
