Job Description:
Join TransForce, an industry leader in driver staffing, as a
Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver. Our team is committed to connecting
high-quality drivers with leading companies to provide reliable and
efficient transportation solutions. In this role, you are expected
to ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations while
maintaining safety and compliance with all vehicular and traffic
laws. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods between
different locations in a timely manner. Perform daily vehicle
inspections and maintenance checks. Load and unload cargo
efficiently while ensuring the secure shipment of goods. Navigate
local routes using GPS devices and adhere to pre-scheduled routes
and timetables. Collect signatures and documentation to verify
deliveries and manage receipts. Communicate effectively with
dispatch and management to report progress and any delivery issues.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory obligations regarding
transportation and goods handling. Safe driving skills and
knowledge of local traffic laws. Effective communication abilities
for interaction with dispatch, clients, and receiving personnel.
Basic knowledge in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Organizational skills to manage cargo and route schedules. Ability
to operate GPS and other routing devices. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver's
license. Clean driving record. Completion of a DOT physical
examination.
