System Freight, Inc., a premier provider of tailored transportation solutions specializing in direct-to-store deliveries and fleet outsourcing, is seeking a qualified CDL-A Local Driver based in Milford, NJ. This position focuses predominantly on providing safe, reliable, and efficient delivery services across our Northeast network, ensuring that all deliveries are handled on-time and with the utmost care. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various local destinations Conduct inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure overall safety and maintenance Adhere to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while driving Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries Maintain communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays Manage documentation related to dispatch, route planning, and delivery processes Load and unload cargo, verifying the contents against shipping records Proficient in operating CDL-A vehicles and knowledgeable in all transportation laws and regulations Excellent time management and route planning skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, pulling, managing heavy material Basic troubleshooting skills for minor vehicle repairs and maintenance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record DOT medical card
