Job Description Job Description Description Our client is a large Technology Service Provider supporting numerous locations across Westchester and Rockland Counties. They deliver end?to?end technical services including device support, infrastructure management, telecommunications, systems administration, and service desk operations. Each site is supported by a team of Junior Network Specialists responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues across a wide range of devices, including Chromebooks, PCs, Windows devices, smart displays, iPads, and other endpoint technologies. Experience supporting these types of devices is a strong plus. This role reports to a Managed Information Technology (MIT) Team Lead and requires strong technical aptitude, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. You will work directly with end users and organizational leadership, providing hands?on support and ensuring smooth daily operations. Preferred Experience Proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 10) Experience supporting virtual server environments Ability to troubleshoot email?related issues Knowledge of workstation setup, configuration, and installation Ability to install network operating systems and perform basic network upgrades Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and PCs Experience configuring and managing user profiles (Active Directory or similar directory services) General networking experience (printers, routers, user/group management) Server hardware configuration Switch configuration and troubleshooting LAN/WAN experience Skills Windows Windows 7 Office 365 Desktop support Troubleshooting Active Directory Top Skills: Windows, Windows 7, Office 365, Desktop Support, Troubleshooting, Active Directory Additional Skills & Qualifications Certifications are not required but are beneficial. A and Network are the most relevant. What types of network devices are you familiar with What is a VLAN What is DHCP and why is it used What does IPConfig do and what information does it provide A user reports they cannot access a website — what steps do you take A user says their computer is running slowly — how do you troubleshoot How do you prioritize tickets when multiple issues come in at once How do you build trust and strong relationships with end users Describe a time you worked with a difficult end user and how you handled it Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmsford, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
