Job Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven AI Technical
Program Manager to lead critical AI initiatives within our advanced
technology portfolio. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing
and directing projects that integrate artificial intelligence with
our defense and aerospace solutions, enhancing our capabilities in
systems that offer both tactical and strategic advantages. Your
leadership will help maintain Lockheed Martin's heritage of
excellence and innovation, as you work cross-functionally to bring
state-of-the-art AI solutions from conception through deployment,
ensuring they meet the high standards of effectiveness and ethical
integrity that define our company. This role requires not only
technical acumen in AI technologies but also strong program
management skills to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and
effectively while fostering an environment of teamwork and
inclusivity. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI
projects Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure technology
integration and resource availability Manage the project lifecycle,
including budget, schedule, and risk management Develop and
maintain comprehensive project documentation Ensure compliance with
both internal standards and external regulations Collaborate with
stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives Monitor
project progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and
expectations Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to project
team members Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent
organizational, time management, and negotiation skills Proficient
in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) Deep
understanding of AI technologies and their applications in the
defense sector Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders Experience with Agile methodologies
