Lockheed Martin, a leader in the Defense & Aerospace industry, is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Level 3 to join our dynamic IT & Cybersecurity team. This role is crucial for integrating cybersecurity with development and operations to enhance system security while ensuring rapid deployment of software solutions. The ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives to automate security controls and secure the software development lifecycle. At Lockheed Martin, we pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive and ethical work environment, emphasizing collaboration and the pursuit of excellence. Design, develop, and implement secure software delivery practices. Bridge the gap between developers and operations to ensure secure, seamless software releases. Automate security processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency. Conduct system audits to identify vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance overall security posture. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and threats. Participate in peer reviews and security profile assessments. Strong proficiency in DevSecOps tools and practices Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies and environments Expertise in automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Kubernetes Familiarity with code analysis and vulnerability assessment tools Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to communicate complex security concepts to varied audiences 401k Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) AWS Certified Security - Specialty or similar cloud security certification
