Compensation & Benefits: Sign-On Bonus: $30,000 Relocation Assistance Malpractice Coverage: $1M/$3M, fully paid Health, Dental & Vision Insurance: Employer-paid premiums 401(k) Retirement Plan: 6% employer match Generous Time Off: 6 weeks PTO 6 holidays 7 sick days CME Support: $5,000 annual allowance 5 CME days About the Role: As a Retinal Ophthalmologist, you’ll provide advanced diagnostic and surgical care for retinal and vitreoretinal diseases in a multidisciplinary setting. You’ll also see general ophthalmology patients, especially as you build your panel. This is your chance to practice full-spectrum retinal care with excellent resources and support. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat conditions like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment. Perform in-office procedures (intravitreal injections, retinal laser therapy, OCT, FA, ICG). Conduct advanced vitreoretinal surgeries (PPV, scleral buckle, etc.). Participate in call rotation for retinal emergencies. Collaborate across disciplines for comprehensive care. Optional: Engage in research, teaching, or clinical trials. Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. with fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery (2 years preferred). Board-certified/eligible in ophthalmology. Licensed or license-eligible in the U.S. Skilled surgeon with excellent communication and patient care.
