Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Poughkeepsie, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm-7:30am. /n - Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance. /n - Analyze EKG results, identify abnormalities, and document findings accurately. /n - Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures. /n - Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other life?threatening conditions. /n - Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. /n - Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow?up care prior to discharge. /n - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 5 years of experience. /n /n - Strong background in high?acuity Med/Surg or step?down settings. /n /n - Experience in teaching hospital environments. /n /n - Active NY RN License. /n /n - BLS (AHA). /n /n - ACLS (AHA). /n /n - Minimum 3 years of recent acute Med/Surg experience. /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
