Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist
to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing
exceptional care at our inpatient rehabilitation facility. In this
role, you will be instrumental in assisting patients to regain
their independence after experiencing illnesses or injuries. Our
ideal candidate will be adept at designing and implementing a
variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient
needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to
develop treatment plans that promote patients' ability to move,
reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Evaluate
patient's condition and develop appropriate rehabilitation plans.
Implement treatment plans using techniques to improve body
movement, restore function, and diminish pain. Monitor patient
progress and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients and
their families about treatment plans and ongoing home exercises.
Record patient progress and document therapy services provided.
Stay updated with current treatment practices and technologies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal
care. Profound knowledge of therapeutic practices and modalities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle
sensitive information confidentially. Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions
and patient needs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state occupational therapy license. NBCOT
certification preferred.
