Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in a psychiatric setting Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care Educate patients and their families on management of their condition Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families Strong psychiatric care knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred
