Exton, PA Organization: Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with
Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Overview Premier Orthopaedics, in
partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a
dedicated and skilled Clinic Assist/Medical Assistant (Certified)
or Athletic Trainer to join our team in Paoli, Collegeville, and
Exton, PA. As two of the region’s most respected providers of

innovation, and ongoing professional development. Position Summary
The Medical Assistant/Clinical Assistant is responsible for
assisting providers with patient care and acts as the coordinator
of care for patients after, during, and after office visits. This
role includes preparing patients for visits, documenting vitals,
maintaining exam room standards, performing basic clinical
procedures, assisting with wound care and casting, and ensuring
effective communication between patients and providers across
multiple locations. This is a full-time position with Monday
through Friday hours. Key Responsibilities Facilitate communication
between patients and providers by collecting and sharing pertinent
information and following provider directives. Prepare patients for
visits, including rooming, obtaining vitals, reviewing intake
paperwork, prepping materials, and accurately entering data into
the EMR system. Assist with cast and soft goods application and
removal, as well as suture and staple removal. Maintain exam room
cleanliness and restock rooms at the end of each day. Monitor
biohazard and sharps containers and replace as needed. Assist
providers in preparing prescriptions and completing patient forms
(work release, disability, FMLA, etc.). Retrieve and respond to
voicemails within 24 business hours and document actions in the EMR
system. Prepare patients’ electronic charts and verify testing
results prior to visits. Perform laboratory tests as needed.
Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure proper maintenance of
medical equipment. Scan clinical documents into the EMR system and
print daily schedules. Ensure patients receive education regarding
medical treatment and therapies. Create and promote a positive
patient experience and maintain HIPAA compliance. Maintain a clean
workspace and follow all practice/site-specific protocols. Perform
other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school
diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical
Assistant training program preferred. Licenses & Certifications:
Employee must pass MA competency exam within the first 24 months of
employment. BLS certification preferred. Experience: One to two
years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred,
including patient-facing or front office responsibilities
Experience with office medical procedures, EMR systems, insurance
verification, and managed care operations preferred Experience
working in fast-paced clinical environments while managing multiple
priorities and meeting deadlines Experience using medical software
and computer systems with strong overall technical proficiency
Experience communicating effectively with patients, families,
providers, and staff to support positive care experiences
Experience building collaborative working relationships with both
internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience
maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in
daily tasks Experience working both independently and as part of a
team to support clinical operations Experience handling patient
interactions with professionalism, empathy, and compassion
