This role supports diagnostic imaging services in an acute care environment and requires strong technical skill, attention to detail, and patient-focused care. The position offers stability, shift differential pay, and the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with clinical teams as needed. Position Overview · Permanent, full-time, direct-hire role · Night shift position with differential pay · Acute care imaging environment · MRI diagnostic imaging services · Patient-centered, safety-focused role · Independent workflow with team collaboration Shift Details · Night shift · Differential: $2.50/hour for MRI night shift · Occasional overtime based on department needs Compensation & Incentives · Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) · $2.50/hour night shift differential for MRI Techs · Comprehensive benefits package · Long-term career stability Key Responsibilities · Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols · Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging · Verify imaging orders and patient information · Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently · Accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record · Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff · Maintain equipment cleanliness and quality standards · Follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements Requirements Education · Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiology Technology (required) Experience · 1–2 years of MRI experience (preferred) Certifications & Licensure · Radiology Technologist (RT) · Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) – ARRT · Basic Life Support (BLS) General Skills · Strong organizational skills · Clear verbal and written communication · Interpersonal and customer service skills · Analytical thinking · Grammar and spelling proficiency · Ability to read and comprehend written instructions · Ability to follow verbal instructions · Basic computer skills · General clerical skills Physical Requirements & Demands · Manual dexterity required · Standing: Occasionally (1–33% of shift) · Walking: Occasionally (1–33% of shift) · Sitting: Frequently (34–66% of shift) · Bending/Stooping: Occasionally (1–33% of shift) · Twisting at waist: Occasionally (1–33% of shift) · Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally (1–33% of shift) Why This Opportunity This position is ideal for an MRI Technologist seeking a stable night shift role with differential pay in a hospital setting.
