Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology position requiring a WY or compact RN license and strong med/surg skills. \n \n Responsibilities\n Position is in a medical oncology unit within a hospital setting Patient population includes oncology and hematology patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics 12-hour day shifts are required May be required to float to other nursing units based on staffing and patient needs Provide comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients, including medication and chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, and care planning Develop and revise care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, compliant environment Strong team collaboration and communication skills are essential Must maintain all required continuing education and certifications for duration of assignment \n \n Requirements\n Active Wyoming (WY) or compact state RN license required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current certifications as required by hospital policy, including BLS and others as applicable Medical/surgical nursing experience preferred Ability to administer chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification may be required) Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation Experience with electronic medical records and proficient computer skills \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-614250.
