Desired Qualities of a Respiratory Therapist: - Respect - Professionalism - Integrity - Compassion Duties of this position include: - Performs patient-focused Respiratory Therapy services. - Participates in Code Blue team drills and evaluations. - Provides education and staff training. - Provides oversight for environmental safety and equipment management. - Complies with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care. - Participates in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics. PM22 POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Current CPR Healthcare Certification required.(BLS and AED) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.(ACLS) - National Board of Respiratory certification required.
