Matheny Medical and Educational Center has a career opportunity for a Full Time Adult Instructor in our Adult Services located in Peapack, NJ. This position operates: 4 days 8am-4pm, 1 day 12pm-8pm, 1 weekend per month Duties of this position include: - Addresses the needs of the patient population in an age appropriate manner. - Identifies the needs of patients through on-going assessments, instructional methods, and monitoring programs. - Provides instructional programs which meet the individual needs of patients. - Completes program documentation in accordance with divisional requirements; maintains patient files containing current information related to the patient’s program. - Responsible for case management of assigned patients; Reviews all documentation generated by team members; Facilitates progress meetings and creates reports. - Consults with other members of the interdisciplinary team to assemble information consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient; Ensures appropriate instruction is integrated into the patients’ overall programs. - Provides additional training in areas outside of specialty instruction.
