Enriching Lives. Growing Abilities Duties of this position include:
- Follows instruction of therapists to support patient/student
activities. - Follows plan arranged by therapists to work with
patients/students in supportive groups - including alternate
positioning, sensory group, etc. - Provides input to therapists
and/or teachers for needed department/student supplies and
equipment. - Demonstrates competence in working with student’s
special equipment. - Maintains equipment and supplies within the
therapy room and department office in an orderly manner. -
Accompanies assigned students to Small Jobs Clinic, explains the
problem to the technician, and assists with the repair as
necessary. - Demonstrates safe handling/transfer techniques
appropriate to the task environment and the individual. - Documents
according to departmental procedures. - Demonstrates ability to
facilitate optimum interpersonal communication with each student. -
Actively participates in departmental projects, program evaluation
and program development. - Actively participates in off program
