Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Radiology Technologist - Discipline:Allied Health Professional - Duration:13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift:8 hours - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Hackensack, NJ. Job Function: - 5x8. - Position patients and adjust equipment to capture images as requested by the physician. - Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols. - Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding. - Monitor and maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper procedure technique throughout imaging. - Apply radiation protection practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Job Requirements: - 1 year of experience as a General Radiology Technologist is required. - Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of imaging equipment. - Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. - Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
