Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in New Hyde Park, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 9 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a prestigious hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York. /n/n/n/n/n/n /n/n/n /n/n/n/n/n/n Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 8am - 5pm. /n - Performs mammogram imaging procedures. /n - Demonstrates competency in mammography positioning, compression & technique factor. /n - Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department SOP. /n - Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technician. /n /n - Must hold AART Certification. /n /n - Current New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography. /n /n - Must comply with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements. /n /n /n Experience with Epic EMR is preferred. /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
