We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents.*Job Summary: *The Registered Dietitian is responsible for coordinating and delivering nutritional care to residents, including conducting assessments, creating care plans, and documenting dietary information. The Dietitian works closely with the Director of Food Services and medical staff to ensure proper nutritional interventions and services for residents.*Job Responsibilities:** Plan and implement nutritional care based on physician diagnoses and regulatory guidelines.* Collaborate with medical staff to assess and improve residents' nutritional status.* Provide nutritional counseling and educate residents on healthy eating habits.* Maintain accurate documentation of dietary information in residents medical records.* Ensure adherence to Kosher regulations and train staff on compliance.* Attend and participate in in-service programs, seminars, and workshops.* Maintain professional development through continuous education and affiliations.* Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility policies.* Promote and maintain a positive and supportive environment with staff and residents.* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and support resident-focused care management.* Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times.*Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.* Registered Dietitian or registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association.* At least one year of experience as a Dietitian in a healthcare setting.* Ability to make independent decisions and communicate effectively.* Must possess patience, tact, and enthusiasm when working with residents.* Knowledge of dietary principles and the willingness to incorporate new methods.* Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.*What We Offer** Competitive pay scale* Generous employee referral bonus* Weekly payroll* Medical and dental coverage* 401k* Paid time off* CEU-eligible training programs* Ongoing leadership and professional development training* Dedicated and local leadership support#otherjobs123Job Type: Full-timePay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time offMedical Specialty:* GeriatricsSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayLicense/Certification:* Registered Dietitian (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Brooklyn, NY 11228 (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
