Job Description:

RWJBH is seeking a Cook in the Dietary Management Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time,-day position (40hours/week).Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists with preparation of hot foods for patients and staff.
Assists in maintaining standards of quality, sanitation, portion control, presentation and storage
Relieves in absence of Chef.
Able to process menu selections for all diet restrictions based on diet order
Will also have to visit patient rooms to obtain menu selection.
Will provide proper portions and nutrient requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Great Knife Skills.Required Skills/Abilities:
- One year cooking experience required
