Job Description:
WHAT WE'RE DOING We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support
the full product lifecycle of avionics subsystems. You will
translate customer requirements into technical solutions, define
hardware/software interfaces, verify requirements, and integrate
safety?critical systems. The role may focus on
software?requirements development or on software verification
(C?code test procedures) as needed. THE WORK - Develop system,
software, and subsystem requirements (HLR & LLR). - Define external
and internal hardware/software interfaces. - Collaborate with
cross?functional teams on interface definitions and allocation of
requirements to engineering disciplines. - Support documentation
and requirements verification, maintaining traceability matrices. -
Create test plans, procedures, and reports; execute integration,
verification, and validation tests. - Work with software architects
to capture, refine, and allocate software requirements, ensuring
they are testable and linked to system?level needs. - Design and
implement C?code?based test procedures to fully verify SRS HLR and
SDD LLR requirements, including lab investigation, troubleshooting,
regression analysis, and traceability to the original requirements.

standards. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Systems
Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or
equivalent). • Minimum 2 years of professional engineering
experience or a Master’s degree with no required experience. •
Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) – Preferably
CAMEO • Experience with development of software requirements and
working collaboratively with software engineers in the design,
development, and test of software • Experience with the design,
integration and test of systems and software operational programs
Desired skills • Knowledge of system design, requirements
definition, and documentation • Knowledge of system
verification/test documentation and conduct • Experience working on
cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test) •
Programming skills in languages such as C, C++ or Python •
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems and embedded platforms

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This
position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US
Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range
for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York
(excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or
Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

$84,300 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary
