Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM Tactical team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. • Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans • Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility • Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education. • 7 years of professional engineering experience. • Prior technical project leadership experience. • Prior project management experience and Control Account Management (CAM) experience. • Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope. Desired skills • Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred). • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change. • Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical). • Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs. • Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking. • Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment). • Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering. • Demonstrated experience in Business Rhythm creation. • Demonstrated experience presentation abilities. • Demonstrated experience organizational skills. Ability to work remotely Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
