Job Description Job Description Position Description: COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION APPRENTICE SERVICE TECHNICIAN We are seeking Commercial Apprentice Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team. The Tier 1 Refrigeration Apprentice learns the foundational principles of commercial refrigeration, assisting senior technicians in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of refrigeration systems. Apprentices develop basic technical skills, including electrical readings, refrigerant handling awareness, and use of diagnostic tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced technologies while providing top-quality service to our clients.Key Learning Areas:Basic refrigeration cycle and applicationVoltage reading Amperage reading Basic maintenance Basic electric Safety and safety equipment videos Proper work attire How to use basic hand tools How to use basic functions of a multi-meter How to use a refrigerant manifold gauge How to read PT chart and understanding refrigerant types Be able to identify refrigeration components Proper use of basic hand toolsRequirements: Minimum age of 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent.
