Join us and make a difference. **Position Summary** We are seeking a highly capable and motivated candidate to contribute to the development of cell therapy processes and products from early development through commercial. This individual will be responsible for characterizing multiple unit-operations, implementing innovative new technologies into the T cell therapy manufacturing process, and optimizing process parameters to create a safe and efficacious drug product. The candidate will also be accountable for solving any platform-related challenges and establishing alignment of key platform strategies. This position is a hands-on, laboratory-based role that will interact extensively with the other individual project and technology teams to develop optimized and robust processes. **Key Responsibilities** Design and execute cellular process development, characterization, and optimization studies on multiple programs. Organize, record and maintain large experimental data sets across multiple studies. Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results for presentation of findings. Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks. Critically analyze and interpret data using statistical methods. Support any deviations or CAPAs related to the cell therapy processes. Author and revise technical documents including master batch records, process development processing templates and bill of materials. Interface with operational teams to facilitate change requests and implementation. Maintain and spread knowledge of current scientific literature and apply key concepts to project activities and plans. Collaborate cross functionally with other teams to advance joint programs. Ensure proper operation and perform routine maintenance of all laboratory equipment. Define/maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies/procedures/regulations. **Qualifications & Experience** + Assistant Engineer: B.S. in Biochemical, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or Biology related discipline + Associate Engineer: B.S. in Biochemical, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or Biology related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience or M.S. with relevant experience + Must have excellent organization skills and ability to multitask + Highly motivated, willingness to acquire new skills and ability to work with minimal supervision + Mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique with strong laboratory skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated ability to effectively work in cross functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects + Able to apply engineering principles and statistical analysis, including design of experiments, in order to provide input and guidance for design of characterization studies + Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts **Why You Should Apply** Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
