Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
School Psychologist position is available to support an elementary
school in Waterbury, CT. This contract role is scheduled for three
days a week, beginning ASAP through June 16th. The ideal candidate
will bring expertise in supporting the social, emotional, and
educational development of students within an elementary school
setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments
and evaluations for students with diverse learning and behavioral
needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to
develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention
strategies Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as
needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss
student progress and recommendations Support positive behavioral
interventions and contribute to school-wide mental health
initiatives Desired Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist
certification or licensure appropriate for Connecticut schools
Experience working in an elementary school environment Strong
assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills Excellent
communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage time
