This full-time position offers a structured schedule aligned with the academic calendar, providing vital assistance throughout the school day. Responsibilities: - Deliver direct support to students across grades K-12, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. - Assist with classroom activities, personalized learning plans, and behavioral support. - Provide caregiving and health-related assistance as needed, especially for students requiring Certified Nurse Assistant skills. - Collaborate with teachers, nurses, and other staff to meet individual student needs effectively. - Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to relevant personnel. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Two professional references demonstrating reliability and aptitude for student support roles. - Relevant experience or certification as a Paraprofessional or CNA preferred but not mandatory. - Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with patience and empathy. Location: - Position is located in Wilkes Barre, PA, serving students within the local school district. - Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:40 PM, totaling 35 hours per week during the school year.
