Senior Project Manager Media is responsible for overseeing the
planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting,
hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project
release. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving
Fingerpaint’s company goals and vision. Duties and
Responsibilities: • Lead and assist in development of projects and
programs that will establish quality objectives. • Manage teams
through all phases of life cycle development, including analysis,
project design and development, testing periods, installation, and
final delivery. • Oversee a department and team of project
managers, including budget management, scheduling, and risk
analysis. • Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors,
and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
• Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control,
and risk factors. • Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create
risk mitigation, and implement action plans. • Manage multiple
projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously. • Protect
confidential and sensitive information. • Enhance company and
department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new
possibilities, and adding value to the organization. • Maintain a
strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions. •
Develop and manages detailed timelines and estimates for custom
media programs. • Develops processes and best practices for custom
media assets in partnership with media team. • Owns communicates
with external media vendors on asset development and approval for
custom programs in partnership with media. • Develops timelines for
custom programs incorporating media vendor timelines, FP internal
timelines and client PRC timing. • Provides SharePoint links of
assets to Account when ready for client review/submission via
email. • Communicates EOD deliverables via Canvas. • Provide
regular updates to internal teams on project status (including
client status learnings to media team). • Documents and
communicates action items from meetings. • Oversees financial
health of assigned projects, tracks burn rates and manages change
requests. • Tracks and reports burn and cost-to-completes –
connects with media leads as needed on burn reports. • Tracks media
invoicing reconciliation with finance and media team, ensuring
Finance is billing accurately based media billing workbook. •
Manage Ziflow and own routing of deliverables they support. • Leads
medium-high complexity jobs. • Share screen and take the team
through weekly status. • Accountable for PC / APM deliverables. •
Ensure all projects follow agency process. • Supports senior
colleagues across programs or complex deliverables. • Makes key
project decisions, resolves issues proactively and navigates risks.
• Supports media team in rolling out new processes and automation.
• Schedules internal meetings and ensures the right team members
are included. • Follow up with the team during routes to ensure
everyone is reviewing in a timely manner. • Defines and monitors
scopes, budgets, and schedules independently. • Collaborates with
account teams to develop statements of work and forecasts. • Opens
vendor POs. • Engages with team to discuss scope, timelines,
estimates, change orders. • Works with SPM and account on
forecasting efforts. • Assists media team with EOY campaign
closeouts. • Creation of Airtable tickets for Studio & Edit &
Integrated Production. • Creation of sharepoint folders and slack
channels. Job Requirements: • 5 years of project management
experience. • PMP certification preferred but not required. •
Experience in planning projects with large data sets and making
decisions for data-driven analytics. • Demonstrated communication
skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas. •
Proven leadership skills. • Ability to balance and prioritize
multiple projects and priorities. • Strong familiarity with project
management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. •
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. • Excellent
analytical skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely
resourceful. • Proven ability to complete projects according to
outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Don’t meet every single
