Job Description:

A growing company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to lead and oversee all accounting operations. This full-time, senior-level role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in managing AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and overall financial oversight. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and capable of implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes that ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance. Responsibilities Include: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank/credit card reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of all account balances. Monitor cash flow and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant financial regulations. Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed. Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial workflows. Ideal Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). 5 years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience managing teams and working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
