Inventory Control Associate - Full-Time - Union, New JerseyWe
are hiring for a new position as a Inventory Control Associate.
The position will be a fast-paced role centered around coordinating
the arrival, receipt and departure of several trucks to and from
multiple regions.
The role will involve both an Inventory Control aspect which will
be a direct receiving of product for distribution and a breakdown
facet focused on ensuring singular POs are broken down to be loaded
into their specified outbound shipments. The position will report
directly to the Inventory Control Manager. Requirements:1+ yrs.
Experience loading and unloading freightExperience and proficiency
with Material Handling EquipmentBasic computer knowledge with
experience in Excel and OutlookDetail-oriented and organizedMust
understand proper loading and unloading procedure with experience
in temperature control monitoring is preferableAt least 18 years
old and must possess a HS diploma or equivalentProvide proof of
right to work in the USAble to read, write and take direction in
EnglishAble to lift up to 50 to 80 pounds with or without
reasonable accommodation and to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per
shiftAble to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachMust have
Regular and Reliable AttendanceMust have transportationSkills
NeededStrong understanding of truck arrival and departure
proceduresMust have prior experience working in a warehouse;
preferably in a distribution environment;Experience working in a
refrigerated/freezer environment is STRONGLY preferredExperience
with forklifts, reach trucks and power jacks a plusStrong
communication skills with warehouse managers/co-workersAbility to
go up to 24' off the ground on a ladder or Material Handling
